About Yajur Fibres IPO

Since its incorporation in 1980, Yajur Fibres Limited has been engaged in the manufacturing of bast fibres, including flax, jute, and hemp. Headquartered in Howrah, the company operates a bast fibre cottonising unit in India, converting long and brittle fibres into short, cotton-like fibres. These fibres can then be blended with up to 55% cotton and synthetic fibres and processed using standard spinning machines.

Through extensive research and innovative production techniques, Yajur Fibres successfully transformed jute fibres into cotton-like fibres—a feat once considered impossible. The company’s manufacturing facility, spread across 19 acres in Jagannathpur, Phuleshwar, Uluberia, Howrah District, West Bengal, features 500 meters of Ganges Riverfront. Its product portfolio includes flax yarn, jute yarn, cottonised flax fibre, cottonised jute fibre, and cottonised hemp fibre. As of November 30, 2025, the company employs 409 staff members.
